1. Basic Safety Training: –

Under regulation as per section A-VI/1 Of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for seafarers 1995/2010, as amended.

• Proficiency In Personal Survival Technique (Table-A-VI/1)
• Personal Safety And Social Responsibility (Table-A-VI/1-4)
• Fire Prevention And Fire Fighting (Table-A-VI/A-2)

Duration: 13 days

2. Security Training for Seafarers Designated Security Duties

This course meets the requirements laid down in paragraph 4 to 6 of regulation v1/6, paragraph 6 to 8 of section A-v1/6 and table A-v1/6-2 of STCW Convention as amended in 2010.

• To know current security threats and patterns
• To Understand security related communications
• To identify the techniques used to circumvent security measures
• To know the methods of physical searches of cargo and ship stores

Duration: 2 days

3. Refresher Training
